The West Surrey Guild was first formed in 1979 with just a few members but membership has increased to a current level of about 100 members.  We are affiliated to the National Association of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers, which was formed over 50 years ago.  We meet monthly at the United Reformed Church in Farnham and also meet 3 or 4 times monthly for spinning and weaving days and a social get together. 

Visitors are always welcome to pop in and meet us at meetings or spinning days.

The aims of the Guild are to encourage and maintain integrity and excellence of craftsmanship in handweaving, spinning and dyeing.  We exhibit our work and demonstrate our skills to the general public with a view to keeping the skills alive and encouraging people of all ages to take up a new craft.
